Virtual Forum – Judges! Judges! Judges!

Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe nearly two months ago, abortion access around the country has been upended as states and local governments move to either support or hinder people seeking abortion care. What happens during our elections this November will have a big impact on abortion access in our state, where advocates and pro-choice lawmakers have been able to protect basic access, unlike many of our neighbors in the southeast. That could change, though, depending not just on how legislative elections go, but also how our judicial races turn out.

We vote on judges here in North Carolina, including on our state Supreme Court (there are two seats up for election in November!). How will these judicial races impact abortion access in our state?

Join us for a panel hosted by All on the Line, Indivisible Guilford, and the New North Carolina Project titled “Judges! Judges! Judges! Virtual Forum”.  Register here to learn more about the importance of judicial races for abortion rights, voting rights, and other critical issues.
