Banning Abortions – When Politicians Criminalize Care

As abortion bans and restrictions are being rushed into place across the country, what does this mean for patients, providers, and advocates who now may be charged with providing, assisting, or obtaining an abortion? What happens when vague laws and emergency situations intersect? What are the reverberations of these laws beyond abortion care? How will these laws and restrictions intersect with increasing state surveillance? Who will be most impacted by these bans?

We'll be discussing these questions and more with providers, advocates, and legal professionals.
