Webinar: Get to Know a Clinic!

Since the anti-abortion SB20 went into effect on July 1st, the Guttmacher Institute estimates that facility-based abortion care dropped by 31% in North Carolina during July 2023. That is by design, of course. Anti-abortion lawmakers crafted SB20 with no input from reproductive healthcare providers, and with the goal of reducing equitable access to abortion care in our state.

North Carolina has 14 abortion clinics, and eight of them are independent clinics. We are thrilled to partner with A Woman’s Choice, which operates three clinics here, to provide you with an update on how clinics are providing care in the wake of SB20 and the law’s impact on patients and providers.

The stigma and disinformation surrounding abortion extends to abortion clinics, and we are excited for this opportunity to present factual and accurate information about abortion clinics and to help demystify abortion care.
