Campus Leaders Are Changing the Conversation
A round of applause for our four fantastic 2025-2026 Campus Leaders, everyone! Located at four university and college campuses across the state, they have been holding a variety of events this academic year, engaging thousands of students in conversations about abortion care and other forms of reproductive health care, and providing students, faculty, and staff with medically factual information and fantastic Pro-Choice North Carolina swag.
Even more exciting, our Campus Leaders have handed out over 2,000 condoms and have given out approximately 650 boxes of Plan B, an emergency contraception used to prevent pregnancy, and we’re only five months into the school year!
As a Campus Leader for Pro-Choice North Carolina, these student interns work directly on activities to reduce abortion stigma and expand access to reproductive health on their campuses and in their communities. Our Campus Leaders, located at college and university campuses across North Carolina, seek to reduce abortion stigma, elevate storytelling as an effective tool in the reproductive rights movement, and provide their classmates with accurate information about abortion and reproductive health care, concrete ways to take action, and the knowledge and skills to fight against attacks on abortion access.
